Objective of the study is to analyze and substantiate the conceptual blocks of scientific activity in the training of highly qualified personnel in higher physical education and sports.
Methods and structure of the study. A long-term theoretical and scientific study of the organization of scientific activity in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation with a physical education and sports profile on the problem of training highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel.
Results and conclusions. Theoretical and practical substantiation of scientific activity in higher educational institutions with a physical education and sports profile indicates the need to develop criteria for increasing human resources, laboratory funds, improving educational programs for training scientific and pedagogical personnel.
