Objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of organizing sectional work on volleyball with students at agricultural and technical universities.
Methods and structure of the study. During the 2023-2024 academic year, a formative experiment was conducted on the basis of men's student volleyball teams of the Don State Agrarian University and the Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don).
Results and conclusions. The consistent application of stages, components and procedures made it possible to optimize the content of sectional volleyball classes with university students, which had a positive effect on achieving high performance in game actions during competitions.
