Objective of the study is to identify the dynamics of technical and physical fitness indicators of highly qualified canoeists during the implementation of various training loads in the preparatory period.
Methods and structure of the study. The indicators of passing the distance of 2000 m (time, average rowing pace) and the distance of 2 × 250 m (average time, pace, length of the run and technical coefficient), bench press and deadlift of a barbell weighing 40 kg in 2 minutes were measured. Two groups (7 people in each) of highly qualified canoeists (Honoured Master of Sports, Master of Sports of International Class, Master of Sports) were observed, training according to two different plans during the preparatory period (October-December). Testing was carried out monthly.
Results and conclusions. The content of training loads and the dynamics of technical and physical fitness indicators of highly skilled canoeists training according to different plans are shown. The assessment of average group indicators of technical and physical fitness of rowers does not allow us to identify the nature of the influence of various training loads. Improvement in the time of passing the test distance for all rowers of both groups occurs as a result of the implementation of the considered variants of training loads, initiating different changes in the fitness indicators, which even within each group show the individual nature of adaptive restructuring. For highly skilled rowers, it is advisable to consider the individual dynamics of fitness indicators in relation to the training load.
