Scientific Focus of Adaptive Physical Culture in the Publication Content of the Journal "Teoriya i praktika fizicheskoy kultury" (2020-2024)

Objective of the study is to identify the main areas of scientific research on adaptive physical education (APE) in the context of publications of the journal "Teoriya i praktika fizicheskoy kultury" (2020-2024) and to outline the scientific and practical prospects for the development of the industry.
Methods and structure of the study. Review and systematization of publications revealing the problems of APE based on the identified categories and criteria of analysis, processing of the obtained data using methods of mathematical and descriptive statistics.
Results and conclusions. 232 articles on APE were identified, the authorship is 572 scientists (60.6% women, 24% doctors of science, 53.7% candidates of science). The most active researchers are from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan and Perm. Adaptive physical education dominates (93 articles) APPE Adaptive physical education dominates (93 articles), especially for students of the Specialized Medical Group (43 articles) and children with disabilities in special education (34 articles). The problems of adaptive sports (65) and physical rehabilitation (45) are also significant. The results of the pedagogical experiment are presented in 77.2% of the works. The most cited articles are on the professional training of specialists in APPE and APPE in the Specialized Medical Group. Over 5 years, 2 doctors and 16 candidates of pedagogical sciences have appeared in the field of APPE. Recommendations are proposed for updating the editorial policy in relation to the sphere of APC and adaptive sports.
