Key words: psychological-educational conditions, mine rescue units, staff; physical fitness.

Nowadays the conditions of field development tend to deteriorate, along with intensified production processes in the mineral resource industry and increase of the intensity of work. All this provoke more emergency and dangerous situations at the place of production. Thus, establishment of the environment which excludes industrial injuries and people's death is one of the primary tasks of the industry. The introduction of highly-mechanized equipment resulted in additional adverse factors causing emergency situations [1].

But there are a lot of natural hazards in modern mining that occur independently of man. These include: the tensity of rocks, the accumulations of gases and liquids in the areas of geological faults; sudden gasdynamic phenomena; water inrushes; the spontaneous combustion of rocks and related underground fires.

Under these conditions the main tasks of mine rescuers are: saving people during accidents and disasters; elimination of the accidents and disasters; the preparation for the rapid elimination of accidents.

The tasks of the rescue staff differ depending on the type of accident. While eliminating the aftermath of gas explosion it is ventilation of the excavations, the debris demolition, in case of underground fires it is fire-fighting; in case of flooding of the mine workings - prevention of total flooding. However, the main task during the liquidation of any emergency is to rescue people. The fulfillment of the above tasks requires a high level of physical and psychological fitness of the staff of mine rescue units and to ensure such level of physical and psychological fitness of the rescuers so they can perform their professional tasks of people rescue the necessary psychological-educational conditions should be created [2].

Researchers have found that one of the main reasons for the growing number of accidents among the staff of mine rescue units is the low level of their physical and psychological fitness.

The creation of the appropriate psychological-educational conditions can improve the process of formation of physical and psychological fitness of the staff of mine rescue units. Psychological-educational conditions should contribute to more efficient formation of their professional skills for saving lives. Such conditions should provide a highly effective system of professional training where the forms, methods and means for developing professional skills will play an important role together with the other psychological-pedagogical conditions necessary to ensure the high level of physical and psychological fitness during emergencies [2 - 5].

The purpose of the study was to analyze psychological-educational conditions, needed to ensure the high level of physical fitness of the staff of mine rescue units for performing the professional tasks of people rescue.

The organization of the study. In order to determine the rank structure of psychological-educational conditions 77 respondents with over 15 years’ experience in mining industry were interviewed.

Results and discussion.

According to the respondents, the main psychological-educational conditions necessary to ensure the high level of physical and psychological fitness of the staff of mine rescue units during emergencies are the implementation of preventive measures to ensure physical fitness of the staff of mine rescue units after the extreme activity and the focus of physical load on enhancing the functional capacities of the rescuers' body. Much attention should be paid to the optimization of physical training, aimed at the formation of applied skills necessary for rescuers and predominant use of the measures developing the overall and strength endurance and power. The collection, research and analysis of the information on the state of physical fitness of the rescuers as well as the selection of the most effective means of physical training based on the individual level of physical fitness are also important. The rest of significant psychological-educational conditions are: the compliance of the training sequence in the formation of applied skills needed in professional activities of rescuers and the development of the objective criteria for controlling the level of physical and psychological fitness of the staff of mine rescue units for performing professional tasks of people rescue.

Conclusion. The detected psychological-educational conditions are necessary to provide the high level of physical and psychological fitness of the staff of mine rescue units for rescuing people. Thanks to arrangement of these conditions the levels of physical and professional fitness of the staff of mine rescue units for rescuing people in extreme situations can be significantly improved.

The findings of the research prove the need to arrange the allocated psychological-educational conditions to provide the high level of physical and psychological fitness of mine rescuers in order to eliminate emergency situation and people rescuing.
