Objective of the study was to substantiate the effectiveness of information and technical support for fitness technology with elements of artificial intelligence, aimed at improving the physical fitness of students in the process of independent studies.
Methods and structure of the study. To achieve the goal, a pedagogical experiment was conducted at the Belarusian National Technical University (hereinafter referred to as BNTU) from October 1 to December 27, 2024, involving 40 third-year students. The experimental factor was the use of fitness technology by students during independent physical exercise classes, one of the main components of which was a model of an artificial expert system developed on the basis of machine learning - an artificial intelligence technology used to make decisions based on knowledge, rules and logical thinking, simulating the professional competencies of a human expert.
Results and conclusions. It has been established that information support for fitness technologies includes fine-tuning the subject field by loading and interpreting the marked information of the following nature: methodology of classes within the fitness direction; description and demonstration of physical exercise techniques; criteria for assessing physical condition; results of pedagogical control (objective and subjective indicators, their analysis, decision-making); duration and frequency of independent classes. Technical support includes the use of an artificial expert system model functioning as a virtual assistant, which, based on input data, allows you to create and adjust the content of a training program/class. According to the results of the study, the effectiveness of using the developed fitness technology with elements of artificial intelligence in the process of independent classes is confirmed (p<0,05) by an increase in students physical fitness indicators.
