The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the "Square" integral exercises in the process of technical and tactical training of qualified football players.
Methodology and organization of research. The experiment was conducted on the basis of the Spartak Football Club Academy (Moscow) during 2023-2024. It was attended by qualified young football players aged 15-17 years. The main emphasis in the organization of the educational and training process of young qualified football players is placed on the application of the system of integral exercises "Square", the effectiveness of which was tested in a formative pedagogical experiment. For this purpose, two equivalent groups of athletes were created – experimental (EG) and control (KG). The effectiveness of the experimental approach was assessed based on the results of technical and tactical actions and interactions during the competitive activities of qualified young football players.
Research results and their discussion. Pedagogical observations of the competitive activities of young qualified football players made it possible to establish that the use of the "Square" integral exercise system makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the attacks of the team formed from the athletes of the experimental group by 23.4% during the formative pedagogical experiment. The use of various variants of the "Square" integral exercises in the training of qualified young EG football players had a positive impact on the increase in the number of passes and shots on goal performed in the game – 18.6 and 16.2%, respectively. There were no significant changes in the control group during the implementation of the additional educational program of sports training in the sport of football.
It was found that in the experimental group, as a result of the use of the "Square" integral exercise system, there was a significant increase in the effectiveness of interactions in twos, threes and fours by 12.7, 14.6 and 10.5%, respectively, when attacking actions were performed. The obtained results had a positive impact on improving the technical and tactical skills of qualified young football players during competitive activities.
Conclusions. Thus, the use of the Square integral exercise system in the process of technical and tactical training of qualified young football players provides a significant increase in the effectiveness of game actions and interactions during competitive activities, which indicates the expediency of introducing the presented approach into the long-term training of players aged 15-17 years.
