Objective of the study was to identify comparative features of the training process in team and individual sports.
Methods and structure of the study. In the process of achieving the set goal, combinations of quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis, statistical analysis were used. The study was carried out in stages: data collection and processing, generalization of results, conclusions.
Results and conclusions. Several key differences in approaches to the training of athletes in team and individual disciplines have been established. Mainly, team sports require an emphasis on tactical preparation and interaction of players, while individual disciplines are focused on the development of the technique of performing a specific element and controllability of the psycho-emotional state of the athlete.
