Objective of the study was to comparative analysis of the distribution of training loads of highly qualified mogul skiers in the annual training cycle based on data for the period from 2021 to 2024.
Methods and structure of the study. Information on the workloads of 12 elite Russian mogul skiers was obtained by analyzing sports diaries.
Results and conclusions. The differences in the indicators characterizing the total volumes of training loads in the Olympic and non-Olympic annual training cycles were established, and the features of the distribution of loads in the preparatory and competitive periods were highlighted. The values of loads presented in the federal standard of sports training for the sport of «freestyle» significantly exceed the actual volume of training sessions and time. It was revealed that training sessions in the preparatory period are longer in time, and in the competitive period - shorter, but more frequent. The Olympic annual cycle is characterized by a higher volume of special loads. The obtained results of the study can be considered as modern models of periodization of sports training of elite mogul skiers.

Keywords: load planning, periodization, annual training cycle, highly qualified athletes, freestyle, mogul.
