Problematic field of research of physical condition of children of preschool and primary school age

Objective of the study: To identify the problematic area of research into the physical condition of preschool and primary school children.
Methods and structure of the study: An analysis of scientific literature devoted to the research topic was conducted.
Results and conclusions: The article presents an analysis of the physical condition of children by four of its components: health group indicators, physical development, functional condition, and physical fitness. The work notes that, despite the large number of studies of various indicators of physical condition, there are still many controversial and unclear issues. An attempt was made to identify issues that deserve more detailed study in the future.
