Introduction. The documentation archive is an important base of accumulated knowledge and developments of an enterprise engaged in project activities, as well as a modern university. Given that the archive has a variety of functions, it is quite difficult to organize a clear work on structured storage, ensuring the reliability of storage, confidentiality and differentiation of access rights, tracking the history of document changes, fast and convenient search. Therefore, the article pays special attention to solving the problem of improving the information system of the digital archive of a modern university [1, 2].
The purpose of the study is to identify the main directions for improving the information system of the digital archive of the University of Physical Culture.
Methodology and organization of the study. To solve this problem, this article identifies the functional requirements for the digital archive of a modern university, analyzes the compliance of the existing system with functional requirements, and suggests measures to improve the efficiency of managing the electronic archive of documents.
The results of the study and their discussion. Based on the study of the electronic archive system of scientific and technical documentation (STD), the analysis and modeling of the structure of the digital archive was carried out. The structure of the organizational part of the electronic archive of the NTD, regulating the life cycle of the document and the technical part responsible for the storage of documentation, has been revealed. The organizational part of the NTD archive is a set of orders and regulations for interaction (information exchange) of structural units, standard control and archive throughout the entire cycle of educational documentation development. The technical part is implemented in the form of a Subversion Version control system (SVN) server. In order to improve the information system of the digital archive of the modern university, business process models "Information support", "Management of storage and receipt of information" were built and the effectiveness of the developed models was evaluated. A comparative analysis of typical solutions of the digital archive system is presented, which include software products of the NTD electronic archive: PILOT: PLM Archive, STOR-M3 and TechnologiCS.
Conclusion. As a result of the analysis, the compliance of standard software products with the built business process models according to the required functionality is shown and the optimal system of the NTD digital archive for implementation at a modern university is selected.
