Objective of the study was to substantiate the use of objective data on the physical condition of an athlete in individualizing pre-competition preparation for Muaythai competitions.
Methods and structure of the study. The article presents the content of scientific and methodological support of two-week pre-competition training on the basis of the training center of the Russian national teams “Ozero Krugloye” in the period from October 10 to October 24, 2023, which consisted of monitoring and assessing the physical condition of athletes to effectively manage the training process.
Results and conclusions. Individualization of pre-competition preparation of members of the Muaythai national team for the main international competitions is based on an assessment of the condition of the musculoskeletal system, central nervous system, and technical arsenal of the athlete. Taking into account all these indicators allows you to adjust the training of each athlete, taking into account strengths and weaknesses.
As the study showed, an individual approach in preparing for the World Martial Arts Games allowed three athletes to approach the competitions in good athletic shape, which was reflected in improved HRV (heart rate variability), simple and complex sensorimotor reactions, boxer IQ (intelligence quotient) and state of the musculoskeletal system.
