Introduction. Increasing muscle activity in the case of asthenia associated with any cause improves all body indicators [1]. This is caused by the powerful activation of the leading biosynthetic and metabolic processes in conditions of increased physical activity [2]. Of great interest is the effect of hand-to-hand combat on the body, especially after suffering an acute respiratory viral infection.
The aim of the study is to assess the impact of regular hand–to-hand combat classes on the physical capabilities of asthenized young men.
Methodology and organization of the study. The observation was carried out on 23 young men aged 18-19 who had an acute respiratory viral infection about a week ago. Of these, 12 individuals started hand-to-hand combat classes for 60 minutes three times a week. They made up the main group. The remaining 11 young men retained their usual inactive lifestyle and formed a control group. The study was conducted for two months. The paper uses a number of functional tests with calculation based on their results of the Student's t-test.
Research results and conclusions. At the beginning of the observation, the examined had low endurance, speed-strength, strength and coordination capabilities, which was associated with the presence of asthenia and detrenirovannosti. Low accuracy of motor actions was also noted in the outcome. By the time the observation was completed, all monitored parameters remained unchanged for the persons who entered the control. They had high fatigue, and the accuracy of movements was low. The persons included in the main group, at the end of the observation, showed a significant improvement in all recorded parameters. Endurance increased by 21.1% in this group, an increase of 21.7% in speed and strength capabilities was found, an increase of 18.9% in strength parameters was noted with an improvement of 22.4% in coordination. In addition, the fatigue of the trainees has significantly decreased and the accuracy of movements has increased.
Conclusion. As a result of hand-to-hand combat, young men with asthenia experienced a marked improvement in physical capabilities. Against the background of regular two-month trainings in the hand-to-hand combat section, the condition of their physical capabilities improved in asthenized individuals, while in control it remained without dynamics.
