Objective of the study was to identify the possibilities of using an electronic course in gymnastics in distance and full-time learning formats.
Methods and structure of the study. The pedagogical experiment was organized on the basis of the Department of Theory and Methods of Gymnastics, Lesgaft University, St. Petersburg in the period 2020-2022 The study touched upon the period of self-isolation associated with the pandemic, when distance learning was organized, and the modern period with the transition to the traditional full-time education format. During the pandemic, teachers developed e-learning courses for conducting classes, which were posted on the LMS Moodle online platform.
Results and conclusions. At the same time, creative communication between the subjects of educational activity is reduced, which is important in the transfer of professional knowledge and experience from a teacher to a student. At the same time, the organization of a distance learning format within a single online platform makes it possible to accumulate information resources and technologies that are relevant today with the possibility of their timely adaptation to new requirements and conditions of the educational process.
Thus, further search and development of new teaching technologies using distance learning formats in sports disciplines still remain in demand in educational practice.
