Objective of the study was to evaluate the function of maintaining body balance in representatives of power sports.
Methods and structure of the study. 15 weightlifters, 14 kettlebell lifters and 16 youth armwrestlers were examined. The control group included 19 young men who had no health problems and were not associated with sports. Balance function was assessed using "Stabilan 01-2" baseline and after exercise. Mathematical processing of the results was performed during the calculation of Student's t-test.
Results and conclusions. Strength sports place great demands on the balance of the body. Assessing the degree of development of this function with the help of a power load on the shoulder girdle, it was possible to note its features in representatives of different power sports. The function of maintaining body balance under load was significantly weakened in representatives of armwrestling than in weightlifters and kettlebell lifters, which is caused by the nature of the training process in each of these sports.

Keywords: muscle load, armwrestling, stability, body balance, barbell, kettlebell lifting.
