Introduction. The age of 11-12 years is determined by the sensitive period for the development of strength abilities, especially in girls [1]. Based on the fact that muscle mass increases especially intensively at this age, it can be concluded that if at this age you do not create a strong "muscle corset" with the help of strength exercises, then as a result, skeletal deformations, posture destruction are possible, and the formation time of motor fuel significantly increases.
The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate the effectiveness of the use of paired strength exercises for the development of strength abilities in girls aged 11-12 years at physical education lessons.
Methodology and organization of the study. Based on the results of the initial testing, experimental and control groups of 12 girls aged 11-12 years each were formed. Differentiated complexes of paired strength exercises in the form of circular workouts were introduced into the physical culture training classes of the experimental group into the structure of the physical culture lesson, allowing to reduce the intensity of muscle work and avoid the effect of addiction, as well as to achieve maximum results in the development of strength abilities. At the beginning and at the end of the experiment, both groups were tested for physical qualities.
Research results and discussion. The results of testing physical tests before and after the experiment in both groups showed that both in the experimental and control groups there is an increase in indicators, while in the experimental group it is significantly higher. All improvements in the performance of force-oriented tests were significant (p<0.05). The difference in the average growth rates between the experimental and control groups was 11.3%.
Conclusion. Systematic physical education classes, focused on the development of strength abilities, have a positive impact on the spatial indicators of the development of these abilities and overall physical development.
