Introduction. Currently, one of the important state tasks in the field of health care of the country's population is the prevention of non–communicable diseases, and in this regard, stopping the increase in the number of cases of diabetes and obesity, where risk factors include the prevalence of overweight and obesity in people aged 18 and over [1].
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the use of individual trajectories of wellness programs and nutrition for the correction of body weight of female teachers of the humanities cycle.
Methodology and organization of the study. In January-February 2022, a study of body mass index (BMI) indicators of female teachers of the Chuvash State University and the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan (NUUz named after Mirzo Ulugbek) was conducted in the number of 56 and 36 people, respectively, aged 26 to 67 years. The obtained BMI results indicate an aggravation of the situation with the problem of overweight and obesity, since 50% of teachers of the Mirzo Ulugbek NUUz and 35.7% of teachers of the Chuvash State University already have a BMI above the norm. Moreover, the increased BMI is primarily associated with an excess of fat mass, not muscle mass. Further questioning on food habits, physical activity and lifestyle only confirmed our concerns [2]. To solve the existing problem, we have designed individual trajectories of wellness programs and nutrition, taking into account the preferences of the subjects [3], their individual indications and contraindications. All the above-mentioned events were under the supervision of physical therapy instructors and medical staff of universities.
The results of the study and their discussion. The developed individual trajectories of wellness programs and nutrition had a certain positive effect on body weight, BMI and overall well-being of women, however, statistically significant changes were not recorded in both groups (p0,05). At the beginning of the experiment, the average body weight indicators for women of the Chuvash State University were 67.2 kg, for teachers of the Mirzo Ulugbek NUUz – 68.3 kg, after the experiment, these indicators decreased to 65.3 kg and 65.8 kg, respectively; BMI indicators were 23.1 units and 23.9 units, respectively. At the same time, the number of women with a BMI above the norm decreased and amounted to: 33% of women in the Chuvash State University, 44% of women in the Mirzo Ulugbek NUUz.
Conclusion. Thus, building individual trajectories of wellness programs and nutrition has a positive effect on the studied indicators of women.
