Influence of burpie on endurance and speed of schoolchildren

Objective of the study was to determine the effect of the Burpee exercise on the indicators of endurance and speed of movement of children aged 15-16.
Methods and structure of the study. The pedagogical experiment was carried out for four months on the basis of a comprehensive school in the city of Kirov No. 60. Schoolchildren aged 15-16 years old took part in the study in the amount of 52 people. Children from the control group were engaged in the usual program, from the experimental group additionally performed the exercise "Burpee". Endurance was determined by the test "2000 m", speed - "Running for 30 m", and the reliability of the results by T-Student.
Results and conclusions. After the pedagogical experiment, the indicators in the control group in the "2000 m" test improved by 1.9% (p> 0.05), and in the "30 m Run" - by 3.7% (p> 0.05). In the experimental group, the performance improved significantly in the 2000m test by 9% (p<0.05) and in the 30m run test by 16.1% (p<0.05). Conclusion: if 15-16-year-old children perform the exercise "Burpee" in physical education, then the indicators of endurance and speed will improve significantly.
