Peculiarities of the development of professionally important qualities in chess referees

Abstract
Objective of the study was to determine the features of the development of professionally important qualities in chess referees.
Methods and structure of the study. The pedagogical experiment was conducted on the basis of the International Center for Chess Education of the Russian State Social University. A control group (CG, 18 people) and an experimental group (EG, 18 people) were determined from among the students of the Russian State Social University who are involved in elective chess courses. In the course of the pedagogical experiment, the following was revealed: the quality of work at competitions, professional competencies, as well as testing the effectiveness of the developed training program for chess organizers and referees. An experimental training program for chess organizers and referees was developed, which was implemented at the seminar, taking into account the specifics and requirements for refereeing.
Results and conclusions. The development of professionally important qualities in chess referees is determined by qualification, communication, moral, strong-willed, psychological and aesthetic features of the type of activity. It is noted that the use of an activity approach to the training of chess organizers and referees allows you to master the system of knowledge, skills and abilities and raises the qualifications and competence of the referee to a higher professional level.
