Before the winter season, after general physical training, pedagogical testing was conducted among children. The criterion for assessing the level of development of physical qualities was the Federal standard of sports training for the sport of "alpine skiing" for groups of the initial training stage (STI).

All-season classes on a permanent basis for children in sports and recreation groups with alpine skiing and snowboarding contribute to the harmonious development of all physical qualities in children of 8-9 years old, open up the possibility for enrolling children in the budgetary groups of the secondary school, youth sports school, etc. at the stage of initial training.
