Students' attitude to health gymnastics at universities of the humanitarian and technological profile

Objective of the study was to study the motives and needs of students of humanitarian and technological universities when choosing health-improving gymnastics as a basic means of physical education.
Methods and structure of the study. The work was carried out in the 2020/2021 academic year on the basis of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow) and the Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (Moscow), which was attended by full-time students (boys and girls) of 1-4 courses, in the amount of 368 people. The main research method was a sociological survey conducted in the form of a questionnaire.
