Efficiency of independent physical exercises in university students in remote format

Objective of the study was to increase the effectiveness of independent physical exercises for university students in a remote format.
Methods and structure of the study. The study was carried out in the period 2019-2021 at the Russian State Social University, which was attended by 325 students of 1-4 courses. The examination of students was carried out using the electronic educational environment of the university. The developed sets of means of physical training of students in the process of independent physical exercises had a personality-oriented orientation (accentuated impact on lagging physical qualities), the technology of conjugated development of physical abilities and the formation of motor skills and abilities was used, control and self-control of knowledge testing and the level of physical fitness were used, digital transformation of this process.
Results and conclusions. The analysis of selective indicators of motor density of independent physical exercises among students showed a significant decrease in these characteristics as they study at the university. The majority of students do not have the proper motivation for independent physical exercises.
In order to increase the effectiveness of independent physical exercises among students, it is important to strengthen their personality-oriented orientation, to develop physical abilities and motor skills, to activate the relationship between students and teachers in the process of physical education and health-improving activities, to use control and self-control technologies for testing knowledge.
