She created a promising direction of research on ways to improve the effectiveness of physical education of students through the implementation of a differentiated individual approach to its organization on a personality-oriented basis, which has received a wide vocation both in our country and abroad and has become a theoretical and methodological basis for updating forms and methods of mastering the values of physical and sports culture by schoolchildren and students. As a result of this activity, a mechanism has been created to attract children and young people to regular physical education and sports. The pedagogical experiments organized by L.I. Lubysheva in Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Tyumen, Perm, the village of Oktyabrsky KhMAO proved that sports culture is a phenomenon that allows every student to organize a sports lifestyle, become a creator of their own health.

L.I. Lubysheva has a scientifically grounded idea of modernization of domestic physical education based on the transformation of the academic subject "Physical Culture" into the subject "Sports culture" in the senior classes of secondary schools and in university physical education. In this aspect, in 2006 she developed the concept of sports education, which is set out in the dissertation research of her students, and also in 2011 she published a monograph "Sports culture in high school". As a result of this activity, sportized physical education was introduced into the practice of educational institutions in Russia, which led to the creation of numerous sports clubs in the Perm Region, the city of Surgut. In Tchaikovsky, all secondary schools, being an experimental platform, created sports clubs, which allowed 80% of schoolchildren of this city to participate in sports.
