Physical education tools to cultivate safe living basics in preschoolers

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the program support for the formation of the basics of safe life in preschool children by means of physical culture.
Methodology and organization of the study. The study was conducted on the basis of the educational institution MBDOU No. 13 . Krasnoyarsk. Children of senior preschool age took part in the experiment. The sample size was 43 people. For the formation of readiness for the safe life of older preschool children by means of physical culture, a program was developed that included the following sections: the formation of motor skills and skills of safe behavior of children on the roads and on the water; teaching children practical actions to overcome various obstacles and hills; teaching children the technique of safe falling in various non-standard situations, etc.
The results of the study and their discussion. At the end of the one-year experiment, the analysis of the formation of basic motor locomotions of older preschool children by means of physical culture showed that dexterity and coordination in children increased by 27.3%, strength and endurance - by 19.8%, attention - by 18.9%, overcoming a specialized obstacle course - by 38.1%, more than 49% of children learned to swim, the ability to fall correctly was trained by 51.1% of children. As practice has shown, in general, more than 70% of older preschool children are prepared for safe life in simple life situations.
Conclusion. The results of the study showed the high importance of means of physical culture in the formation of readiness of older preschool children for safe life, especially in situations such as driving on the road, behavior on the water, the ability to group in case of an unexpected fall, overcoming various obstacles in a difficult situation, etc. Such an integrated approach to the formation of applied skills of safe life in children in the early periods of preschool age will further contribute to the formation of a general culture of preserving human health and safe behavior in various life situations.
