Objective of the study was to analyze biomechanics and excellence options of the body waving ball roll elements in rhythmic gymnastics routines.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled elite rhythmic gymnasts to analyze the body waving ball roll movement kinematics using a Qualisys Optoelectronic computerized system with Qualisys Track Manager software toolkit. We used the system to track and analyze the ball roll sequence with the body wave moving along the arms, then with the reverse and direct body waves with the ball moved to the chest and vice versa. The test data and analysis found the key execution specifics and execution quality determinants in every movement phase.
Results and conclusion. The study found that the body waving ball roll movement execution quality need to be secured and excelled by focused trainings of the harmonic body waving elements with individualized progress test methods and progress forecasts to facilitate the technical execution of every detail for success of the routine.

Keywords: rhythmic gymnastics, ball roll technique, body waving, movement kinematics, skill excellence training.
