Students’ attitude to healthy lifestyle and vitality survey

Abstract
Objective of the study was to survey students’ attitudes to healthy lifestyle and physical fitness culture.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for the survey the 17-20-year-old students of Bonch-Bruevich Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (n=80, 22 females and 58 males).
Results and conclusion. The sample reported the following key health risks: unhealthy diets, academic pressures and stressors, and bad habits; and showed awareness of the need for a lifelong healthy lifestyle for active living and professional progress. The survey found that, in spite of the health risks and regresses in the academic study period, many students are still motivated for physical progress and reasonably immune to bad habits.
