Objective of the study was to analyze correlations between interhemispheric asymmetry and competitive fitness
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for the study healthy 18-23-year-old males to rate the functional interhemispheric asymmetry by motor-sensory asymmetry tests and neural-energy mapping analyses. The competitive fitness was rated by standard tests; and the test data were processed using standard nonparametric multivariate statistics methods.
Results and conclusion. Based on the competitive fitness test data, the sample was split up into two clusters meaningfully different in the interhemispheric asymmetry / competitive fitness correlation rates – that may be interpreted as indicative of the physiological functionality differences of the both clusters. The study demonstrated the need for the dynamically lateralized interhemispheric asymmetry / competitive fitness correlations being analyzed on a systemic basis.

Keywords: neural-energy mapping, competitive fitness, lateralization index.
