The aim of the study is to determine the impact of the intensity of a volleyball match on the psychofunctional state of the referee.
Methodology and organization of the study. The analysis was carried out during the 2018/2019 game season. To achieve the goal of the study, a sociological survey (questionnaire) of the judges of the Highest League "A" and "B", as well as the Youth League, was conducted. All judges according to their qualifications were divided into three groups: group "A" – trainee judges; "B"-the first category; "C" – the All – Russian category. Pedagogical observation was used to determine the errors and correctness of actions during the match, and heart rate monitoring made it possible to determine the impact of the intensity of the game on the functional state of judges of various qualifications.
The results of the study and their discussion. Judges of different qualifications have different emotional workability: for example, judges of low qualification have a long phase, and judges of high qualification have this state much earlier. The activity of the volleyball referee in a single game of the match is characterized by a high level of intensity of the game, the pulse reaches 131 beats/min. It is determined that the omitted and invented errors are more related to the emotional state r=0.567 (p<0.05). Judges of different qualifications showed a significant relationship between the indicators of the maximum heart rate and the total number of errors of judges, with the correlation coefficient r=0.590 (p<0.05). There was also a significant correlation between the duration of the ball draw and the emotional state of judges of various qualifications r=0.583 (p<0.05).
Conclusion. Qualified volleyball referees who make mistakes during a dress-up match are not affected by this factor on the psychofunctional state and subsequent quality of refereeing. Novice judges who make mistakes often experience game episodes, which negatively affects the psychoemotional state and the quality of judging.
