Sportizated physical education: from theory to innovative practices

Objective of the study was to conduct a theoretical analysis of the content and technologies of implementation of sportizated physical education in the educational environment of educational institutions.
Methods and structure of the study. The following research methods were applied during the study: analysis, synthesis, generalization, which enabled to concretize original ideas of the concept "sportizated physical education" of student youth and clarify the contents of such concepts as "sportization" and "sports culture".
Results and conclusions. In studying the main directions of scientific research in the field of modernization of the present-day system of physical education of student youth, the nature and content of the sportizated physical education, as well as the concepts for the sports culture formation were clarified and specified.
The authors conclude that the dynamic sportizated form of physical education that meets today's requirements contributes to the development of students’ motivation for endorsing sports culture values and integrating training and competitive activities into their everyday life.
