Abstract
Objective of the study was to improve the methods of monitoring the restoration of working capacity of football players in the process of training.
Methods and structure of the study. A pulsometry method was used to control the training loads the football players were exposed to. Sampled for the study were 22 football players of the first division team with the sports qualifications of Masters of Sport and Candidate Masters of Sport.
Results of the study and conclusions. We determined the dynamics of heart rate restoration in the qualified football players after the training loads of different duration and intensity and developed the criteria of restoration of working capacity of football players during trainings: operational restoration index and operational adaptation index, which can be used to adjust the regulatory impacts.
The authors conclude that, by controlling the training and competitive loads in football using the method of pulsometry, a coach can make optimal decisions to control the training process in real time. At the same time, the heart rate measurements in a state of rest and under loads enable to determine its intensity and, to a certain extent, its size and direction, which makes it possible to individualize the training effects for each football player.
