Annotation. Students of a special medical group for vision during regular physical training using special exercises with a shuttlecock and the use of badminton elements are able to improve and stabilize visual acuity.
Research Methods and Organization. The study involved 12 university students aged 17-22 years assigned for health reasons to a special medical group for vision. Diagnosis of vision was carried out on a Tonoref II autorefkeratotonometer. Statistical analysis of the results of the study was carried out using the program IBM SPSS Statistics 25.
Results and its discussion. An analysis of the materials showed that out of 12 students involved in physical exercises with badminton elements, six students increased their visual acuity by 10% from the initial level, four students by 20%. At the same time, vision was restored in one subject and stabilization of the process was observed in two individuals (differences were significant at p <0.05).
The results of the study suggest that to improve vision it is advisable to use special exercises with a shuttlecock and badminton elements at least three times a week when combined with other developing physical exercises.
