On the effectiveness of using software to assess the input control in physical culture among students

Introduction. Entrance control is an important component of the educational process, with the help of which the degree of readiness of the student to master the competencies provided by the work programs in the disciplines of physical culture and sports is determined [1]. The obtained data make it possible to promptly make changes to the methodological and substantive part of the educational process in physical education.
The assessment of the entrance control using computer programs that allow to comprehensively and objectively identify the initial level of competence formation in the field of physical culture and sports is relevant [2].
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the effectiveness of using software to evaluate the indicators of entrance control in physical culture among first–year students.
Methodology and organization of the study. The Department of Physical Education of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University has developed a program for assessing the entrance control of physical culture for first-year students, consisting of three modules: "Functional state of the student" (evaluation of indicators of physical development and functional state of the body), "Physical fitness of the student" and "Test" (the amount of theoretical knowledge is determined). The program included a data entry form, an internal calculation part and a form for displaying the results in a text version in the form of a table.
The results of the study and their discussion. The program was tested in September-October 2022 on the basis of the Departments of Physical Education of the Chuvash State University and the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan. The teachers of the departments noted that this program allows you to quickly identify the initial data on the components being determined and compare them with the appropriate age values. If deviations from the normative indicators of individual components are detected, it is possible to build individual trajectories of wellness programs in a timely manner and increase the volume of theoretical knowledge to the indicators required for the entrance requirements of first-year students in physical culture and sports.
The program was examined by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation. A positive decision was received and a certificate of state registration of the computer program (No. 2023616130 dated 03/22/2023).
Conclusion. Thus, during the use of this program, its effectiveness has been proven, which consists in an integral and operational assessment of the level of formation of physical culture of the individual and the degree of readiness of the student to master competencies in the field of physical culture and sports.
